Singer Lee Hyo-ri told the back story of the article photo she posted on her social media
Singer Lee Hyo-ri recently appeared as a guest on KBS2’s show “The Seasons-Long Day, Long Night with AKMU,” which aired on October 20th.
This is the first time the singer participated in a music show in 10 years. She performed a medley of her hit songs, including “U-Go-Girl,” “10 Minutes,” and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Bang.”
In this episode, Lee Hyo-ri shared, “After 10 years away at Jeju Island, I came back to the music scene. I actually don’t have a clue. What kind of music is popular these days and how to dress cool.”
Later in the show, Lee Chan-hyuk said, “I’ve had weird pictures taken lately. If you’re a star, you don’t even have a private life,” referring to the issue of weird photos taken by reporters.
In response, Lee Hyo-ri said, “I have had too many cases like that. The issue of photography is an issue that I live with.” Lee Chan-hyuk said, “This time, you even wanted to find the reporter publicly,” and Lee Hyo-ri joked, “That’s right. Come out where you are. Let’s have a long conversation.”
The show mentioned a past bad photo of Lee Hyo-ri. She said, “Isn’t that old thing? Do I still have to suffer because of it? It’s been more than 20 years.” Her recent bad photo was also mentioned. Seeing the photo shown on the screen, Lee Hyo-ri told the audience, “It’s even worse that you don’t laugh. Laugh instead. How about that picture? Tell me honestly. I turned on my phone and it appeared.“
Lee Chan-hyuk asked, “I don’t think the styling was bad and there are many photos that came out okay that day, right?” Other photos taken of Lee Hyo-ri on the same day were also released.
Lee Hyo-ri said, “The reporter is not at fault. It’s a photo, not a painting. One can’t take a photo of something if it isn’t there.”
The singer disclosed, “If I really hated that picture, I wouldn’t have posted it on my Instagram. But it was so funny that I uploaded it and that’s what happened.“
