Kwon Yu-ri made her debut in 2007 as a member of Girls’ Generation with the single album “Into the New World”.

Showing up on an entertainment program, Kwon Yu-ri told a behind-the-scenes story of her debut.

On SBS’s entertainment show “My Little Old Boy”, Kwon Yu-ri said, “At that time, my friend told me that she was going to apply for an audition and asked me to help her as a backup dancer”.

She then revealed how she was cast by SM, saying, “However, at the audition, they played a song and asked me to dance and sing anything. Later, they told me to come to the company with my parents. And when I came there, the CEO appeared and asked me to sign a contract”.

Kwon Yu-ri, who carried out many activities as a singer, has also started challenging acting.

After appearing in various dramas, such as “Innocent Defendant”, “Dae Jang Geum Is Watching”, etc., Kwon Yu-ri challenged a historical work for the first time with MBC’s “Bossam: Steal the Fate”, which ended in July last year.

With her great performances, Kwon Yu-ri got recognized for her acting skills, and she even received the Best Acting Awards at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards.
