The female lead of “Business Proposal”, Kim Se Jeong, recently revealed that she separate her friendships into “tiers”.
On a recent broadcast of SBS program “Dolsing Fourmen”, Kim Se Jeong appeared as a cast member of the upcoming drama “Today’s Webtoon” and talk about her friendship.
In particular, the idol-actress shared that she had a “friendship pyramid” with 5 levels, separated by the level of closeness to her, with 5 being strangers and 1 being extremely close friends. Accordingly, Cha Eun Woo and TWICE Jihyo are “level 1” friends”, members from Se Jeong’s former groups I.O.I and Gugudan are “level 2” friends, while her co-stars Nam Yoon Su and Choi Daniel are “level 3” friends”
Hearing this, actor Lee Sang Min expressed concern about this tier friendship scale, to which Kim Se Jeong happily responded: “It’s okay, all of my friends know about this and which level they are”.
However, while some audiences find Se Jeong’s revelations relatable and interesting, many expressed that her actions are inconsiderate.

However, many people jumped to the idol-actress’ defense, saying that they’d rather someone frank and honest like Se Jeong over someone who acts sweet but talks behind their backs.
In addition, Se Jeong did say that her acquaintances all know of this “pyramid”, and so they’d neither be surprised nor upset.
After the huge popularity of rom-com series “Business Proposal”, Kim Se Jeong will return to the small screen on July 29th, with the K-drama “Today’s Webtoon”.
