Kim Jong-kook Mentions His Manner Hands For Song Ji-hyo, “Your shoulders need to be strong”
Singer & broadcaster Kim Jong-kook talked about the video highlighting his manner hands that recently became a hot topic
Kim Jong-kook, Cha Hong, Kim Seon-tae and Kim Yo-han guested on episode 861 of MBC’s entertainment program “Radio Star”, which aired on April 3rd.
When asked if he knew his personal YouTube channel to be this successful, Kim Jong-kook said, “I didn’t expect it at all. My initial goal was 300,000 or 500,000 subscribers (core fans). I thought I would run my channel with one camera but now it already has 2.98 million subscribers. It was my first time opening a YouTube channel. I’m not sure where they were hiding but many people who work out said, ‘I’ve come to the holy land’. I gained 2 million subscribers a month”, adding “I don’t want to brag about it but because we’re celebrities”.
However, the MCs, including Jang Do-yeon, commented, “There are many celebrities who failed”. Kim Jong-kook added, “I received great support from the community of people who love working out”.
Later, one of the guests mentioned Song Ji-hyo, saying “I watched Ji-hyo’s episode. The video with her has gotten 17 million views”.
Hearing that, Jang Do-yeon turned to Kim Jong-kook, saying “A video recently went viral”. Mentioning the video showing Kim Jong-kook’s manner hands, she said, “Your manner hands when Song Ji-hyo hugged you tightly”.
Watching the video, Kim Sun-tae commented, “You need to be so strong to show your manner hands”. Kim Jong-kook replied, “It’s necessary. You need to have strength. I had to carry her on my shoulders and keep it like that”, drawing laughter.
