“Do dancers have to dance anywhere?”, Kim Hyun-wook is criticized for his insensible words toward Noze
Broadcaster Kim Hyun-wook is being criticized for his rude show hosting against Noze.
On Dec 1st, Noze modeled for the 2021 Korea Fashion Awards held on the same day. However, after the models’ walking, Kim Hyun-wook‘s rude talk began. Kim Hyun-wook said, “There is a famous person here, but did you notice? In fact, we recruited this person at a high cost, but there seems to be no effect. Why did she have to wear a hat again? I don’t know why she put on the hat. It would have been nice if she dance once. Such a bummer,” he said.
In the ensuing interview with Noze, Kim Hyun-wook continued his rude attitude. “Why are you wearing a hat? You are supposed to look cool when you came out wearing a hat, but no one knew that you are Noze even though you were the first runner because you walked out with your head down.” Noze then replied, “I wrote it to look cool. I stood on the stage a lot in terms of dance, but I guess I looked at the ground because I’m nervous as this is a different kind of show.”
Kim Hyun-wook continued to took issue with Noze‘s walking. As Noze said, “To me, I thought it would be better to do what I wanted because it would be artificial if I practiced,” he then asked Noze to walk one more time and said, “This is different from the models. It’s similar to me walking,” he compared.
Even though Noze was embarrassed, he still stubbornly demanded a dance. Eventually, Noze, who was supposed to appear as a model on the runway, has to show a dance.
After the awards ceremony, netizens criticized that Kim Hyun-wook‘s progress was too rude. Noze‘s job is indeed a dancer, but he has demanded her to dance regardless of time and place, no to mention a series of his rude and insensible remarks against Noze. Althought viewers know that it was his intention to lighten the mood, but the prevailing view is that it was a show-hosting flow that embarrassed even the viewers.
