JTBC News’s “Scandal Supervisor” MC appeared on the news broadcast on the evening of December 21st and made an official apology to G-Dragon. The MC said, “It is true that we reported content and news related to the drug incident that could be unacceptable from G-Dragon’s perspective during the first stages of the police investigation. Therefore, we would like to sincerely apologize to G-Dragon and his fans”.

Earlier in November, this news program criticized G-Dragon for not apologizing for the drug allegations when he voluntarily attended the police summons.

At the press conference on the morning of the same day, Galaxy Corporation’s CEO Cho Hae-hae firmly stated that the company would take strict legal action against people who made defamation and malicious posts about G-Dragon online if they didn’t delete the posts before the 28th of this month. In addition, the agency also demanded the media to refrain from reporting news related to the male singer’s drug incident so that he could continue doing music activities.
