Jennie may be honored at Grammy and Emmy thanks to “The Idol”, said Forbes

Renowned media outlet Forbes claim that BLACKPINK Jennie’s performance with “The Idol” may earn her recognition at prestigious awards. 

On June 19th (local time), famous American magazine Forbes published an article foretelling BLACKPINK Jennie’s future path after appearing in HBO’s “The Idol”. 

In particular, Forbes mentioned that Jennie may take on more acting and solo activities, while still retaining her responsibilities as a member of BLACKPINK.

They also added that “The Idol” may make Jennie eligible for prestigious awards ceremonies, including the Emmy and Grammy. 

“Jennie’s exceptional performance on The Idol makes her eligible for prestigious accolades, including an Emmy. However, it remains to be seen if she will be submitted as a contender for the coveted award.”, Forbes wrote, adding, “Additionally, the music associated with the show might open doors for Jennie to be considered for Grammy nominations in various categories.”

According to Forbes, “The Idol” could propel Jennie’s recognition in the music industry, as well as provide her with more musical offerings in the future. 

On the other hand, Jennie will be releasing a collaboration song with The Weeknd – her co-star on “The Idol” and the show’s co-creator and executive producer.
