SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Business Proposal” has ended.
The 12th episode of SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Business Proposal” (written by Han Seol-hee, Hong Bo-hee/ directed by Park Seon-ho), which aired at 10 p.m on April 5th, ended with a rating of 11.4% (provided by Nielsen Korea).
In the final broadcast, Kang Tae-moo (Ahn Hyo-seop) and Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong) overcame opposition from their families and confirmed their love for each other.
Kang Tae-moo decided to accompany Chairman Kang Da-goo (Lee Deok-hwa) to the U.S for his treatment and asked Shin Ha-ri to go with him. However, Shin Ha-ri rejected Kang Tae-moo’s offer. Shin Ha-ri calmly persuaded Kang Tae-moo, who was anxious, and Kang Tae-moo said, “I’ll be right back, so wait for me”.
A year later, Kang Tae-moo and Shin Ha-ri were still dating well as they often did video calls to see how each other was doing. However, when Kang Tae-moo was involved in a scandal with cellist Baek Yoon-seo, Shin Ha-ri took a vacation to go to the U.S. At that moment, Kang Tae-moo, who has just returned to Korea, appeared in front of Shin Ha-ri.
Kang Tae-moo explained that he heard about the scandal on the plan to Korea and it was fake news.
Kang Tae-moo then proposed to Shin Ha-ri with a ring and told her about Kang Da-goo’s permission. Kang Tae-moo took out the ring and said, “Let’s get married”. Shin Ha-ri replied with a kiss and the two had a happy ending.
The viewers showed favorable responses to the ending. They commented, “Thank you Business Proposal”, “They don’t even show a wedding scene. It means there’s a Season 2, right? Meanwhile, according to the online content service ranking website Flix Patrol on April 5th, “Business Proposal” ranked 2nd place in the worldwide rankings of Netflix’s TV program category. This is the highest record among Korean dramas aired simultaneously on broadcasting channels and OTT platforms.
