Jamboree K-pop Super Live 2023: IVE Removed from Lineup, NewJeans Joins
The lineup for the K-pop concert ‘Jamboree K-pop Super Live’ by Saemangeum World Scouts has been confirmed.
On August 9th at 2 p.m. KST, KBS revealed the teaser video for the ‘2023 World Scouts Jamboree K-pop Super Live’ lineup through their official YouTube channel and announced the final lineup.

According to the video, the concert will take place on August 11th at 7 p.m. KST at Seoul’s Sangam World Cup Stadium. The lineup includes Mamamoo’s Solar x Hwasa, NCT DREAM, ITZY, NewJeans, THE BOYZ, KARD, Jo Yuri, Kwon Eunbi, fromis_9, HOLYBANG, Kang Daniel, P1Harmony, TNX, ZEROBASEONE, and ATBO.

Looking at the lineup, initially included in the ‘Music Bank’ lineup were NewJeans, ITZY, THE BOYZ, Jo Yuri, Kwon Eunbi, and others. However, artists like IVE, ENHYPEN, VERIVERY, who were part of the lineup for the concert on August 6th, were removed. KBS, the organizer of this Jamboree concert, had already decided to cancel ‘Music Bank.’

Originally scheduled to take place on August 6th, at a specially built outdoor stage in Saemangeum, Buan, Jeollabuk-do, the Jamboree concert was postponed to August 11th due to heatwaves and safety concerns. The venue was changed to Jeonbuk World Cup Stadium, then moved again to Sangam World Cup Stadium in Seoul, causing some confusion.

The government and the Jamboree organizing committee explained this decision as “an unavoidable measure due to the forecast of Typhoon Kanoon’s passage over the Korean Peninsula.“
