Jisoo has been confirmed to be infected with Covid-19 and will not join BLACKPINK’s world tour shows in Osaka.
On June 1st, YG Entertainment released a notice on the fan community Weverse, saying “Jisoo showed symptoms of mild cold on May 30th. She tested negative through self-test but has been confirmed with a ‘positive’ result today”.
In addition, they continued, “Jisoo expressed her strong determination to perform in order to keep her promise with fans. However, we decided to not let Jisoo participate in the upcoming concerts for the health of the artist and everyone’s safety.”
As a result, three members Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé will perform the concerts in Osaka, Japan on the 3rd and 4th of June without Jisoo.
In this regard, YG said, “Knowing the expectations of fans who have been eagerly waiting for the concerts, we kindly ask for your enthusiastic support as we are making our best efforts to present to you the performances as scheduled.”
