IVE appeared on “Knowing Bros”.
The April 15th broadcast of JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” featured 6-member girl group IVE, who returned with new songs “Kitsch” and “I AM”.
On this day, “Knowing Bros” members praised IVE, emphasizing that it was a girl group that received both the Rookie award and the Grand Prize. Hearing this, An Yu Jin showed her sense by replying, “We have the grand prize mindset on the stage and the rookie award mindset off the stage.” When Kim Hee Chul asked “How did the company treat you after you received the grand prize?”, An Yu Jin revealed, “We’re moving to another dorm. We’ll move soon.”
When comedian Lee Jin Ho said that IVE is popular with elementary school students, Gaeul shared an episode in which an elementary school student approached her and shyly asked if she is a member of IVE.
IVE has many hit songs, but the new album this time is their first full-length album. A song in which An Yu Jin participated in writing the lyrics was mentioned. An Yu Jin explained, “The lyrics ‘I can’t help it’ are repeated in the song. It contains the meaning of ‘I can’t help it because I’m good’.” Jang Won Young added, “I also participated in writing the lyrics for this album, and one song is a fan song.”
IVE heated up the recording studio by performing “Kitsch” and “I AM” in school uniforms only on “Knowing Bros”.
In the following homecoming party concept, IVE and “Knowing Bros” members changed their clothes. During a skit by Shindong and IVE members, Shindong said, “Teachers hate Won Young. Because students don’t go to school and only follow Won Young. A law banning Jang Won Young from going out during school hours has been proposed to the National Assembly.”
Jang Won Young caused laughter as she responded, “We had a meeting about this matter. Since my birthday is August 31st, I’ll only stand for 10 minutes at 8:31 AM and 8:31 PM, so let’s have a photo time at this time.”
