IVE Jang Won-young: “There are lots of rumors and gossips about me. I don’t get hurt easily. I believe in myself”

IVE Jang Won-young impressed everyone with a wise answer that is even more mature than her age of 18.

On December 10th, a video with Jang Won-young was uploaded on the Youtube channel “No prepare”. “No Prepare” is Lee Young-ji’s 1:1 customized meal service web entertainment show.

Jang Won-young, a former member of the project girl group IZ*ONE, has re-debuted as a member of IVE under Starship Entertainment on December 1st. She said, “I have been busy preparing for my debut”, adding, “There is a member who is 3 years younger than me in my group. I was so surprised that I almost ran away from my company. The youngest member was born in 2007, but I sometimes mistakenly call her ‘unnie (older sister)’.”

She shared, “There are many rumors and gossips about me. However, I don’t get affected much. As long as the rumors are wrong and I didn’t do those things, I’m okay whatever they say. You live your life, and I live as who I am. I’m the kind of person who tries to do my best on whatever given work.”

Lee Young-ji gave Jang Won-young sincere advice, saying, “It’s nice to see you talk about your struggling appearance while revealing your childhood to the public. Rather than trying to match what people think about you, I hope Wonyoung can succeed in what you want to do and fulfill your dreams.”
