It Turns Out That Lee Dong-gun And Sung Hyuk Are Cousins

Actor Sung Hyuk’s profile and filmography drew attention as he was revealed to be Lee Dong-gun’s relative

Born in March 1984, Sung Hyuk is 39 years old this year. He is known to be Lee Dong-gun’s cousin.

Sung Hyuk is currently active as an actor under FNC Entertainment. He made his debut with the role of Yoon Tae-won in MBC’s drama “Heaven’s Fate”. Later, he starred in SBS’s “Let’s Go To The Beach” (2005), MBC’s “Don’t Go Away” (2008), KBS2’s “Please Marry Me” (2010) and TV Chosun’s “Bride of the Century” (2014).

In 2014, Sung Hyuk appeared in MBC’s “Jang Bo-ri Is Here!” as Moon Ji-sang and began to gain recognition from the public. Since then he has been acting in earnest by participating in various projects, such as “You Are the Only One”, “A Korean Odyssey”, “Trap”, “Save Me 2”, “Kingmaker: The Change of Destiny”, “Connect”, etc.

Aside from dramas, Sung Hyuk also appeared on the big screen. He played many roles in several films, such as “Confession” (2014), “Operation Chromite” (2016), “Start-Up” (2019), and “The Golden Holiday” (2020). He took on the role of Daewoo in his latest film “Citizen of a Kind”.

Joining the tennis episodes of KBS2’s “Our Neighborhood Art, Sports & Entertainment” (2014) and MBC’s “Real Man” (2016), Sung Hyuk drew attention with his excellent entertainment skills. He recently guested on the February 11th broadcast of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy”.

In that episode, actor Lee Dong-gun suddenly shared, “We are the same blood”, revealing that they are relatives. He added, “It’s very rare to have relatives who are both actors under the same company. We’ve been active like that for a long time”.
