“I lost 15kg”… Another female idol reveals how she maintains a good body figure

Here are some diet tips from TWICE’s Jihyo.

TWICE member Jihyo recently revealed that she lost 15kg. In a live broadcast, Jihyo also told the story of her dieting, saying that her agency wouldn’t let her take debut profile pictures if she couldn’t manage to make herself weigh 45kg.

Currently, Jihyo is doing exercises regularly to improve her physical strength and maintain good health.  

One meal a day, fasting after 5 p.m

In an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, Ji-hyo said, “I actually really like eating. So the moment I went on a diet, it was so so hard. So instead of dieting, if I’m in a hurry to do something, I think I quit eating late-night snacks and eat one meal a day. I endure from the morning until the afternoon and then eat at around 4 ~ 5 p.m. I just try to keep that routine.”

She also pointed out that eating bland food is very important when dieting with one meal a day.

Doing exercises

Jihyo once confessed, “There’s a way of exercising that really worked for me. That’s abs exercises, not dieting”. She added, “When you go to the gym, there’s a kind of chair that helps you do abs workout. You just have to adjust the angle to suit yourself and lift the weight. After I did that for 3-4 days, I naturally got abs.”
