Actress Hwang Jung-eum and basketball player Kim Jong-gyu broke up two weeks after publicizing their romance
On August 5th, Y1 Entertainment stated, “Hwang Jung-eum and Kim Jong-gyu have recently been in the stage of getting to know each other carefully”, adding “They decided to remain good acquaintances”. They continued, “We ask for your understanding that it is difficult to check other details”, and did not disclose the reason for their breakup.
Hwang Jung-eum revealed her romantic relationship with Kim Jong-gyu on April 22nd. It has been more than five months since she filed a lawsuit for divorce from former professional golfer Lee Young-don earlier this year.
