Actress Gong Hyo-jin revealed an anecdote that she shed tears after listening to BIGBANG’s “Loser.”
KBS 2TV’s “No Impact Day”, which aired on Nov 25th, depicted Gong Hyo-jin, Lee Chun-hee, and Jeon Hye-jin enjoying an unexpected squid dinner while continuing their zero-carbon project. On this day, the three has had a midnight party with the cuttlefish they got. Amidst the party, Jeon Hye-jin said, “I love the sound of grass and bugs.”
In response, Lee Chun-hee asked Gong Hyo-jin, “Don’t you sometimes listen to the music and it makes you cry?” Gong Hyo-jin said, “I do. It was my first time hearing Park Hyo-shin’s “Things I Can’t Do For You” on the radio, and it was so sad. The song itself is so sad and (Park Hyo-shin’s) voice is so appealing that I just cried.”
Jeon Hye-jin also agreed, “The song is really sad,” and soon the two became teary-eyed. Gong Hyo-jin also said, “There is one more song. It’s BIGBANG’s “Loser”. Don’t we all have times that we only feel like a loser?” he confessed.
“I accidentally met those friends (BIGBANG members) once and said to them that “I listened to this song dozens of times as soon as it came out. I cried so much when I heard the song,” she recalled. “Don’t we all feel like a loser at least once? The moments that only ourselves know,” she said with a sorrowful expression.
