Responding to articles about G-Dragon returning to YG Entertainment on December 20th, YG briefly said, “It is difficult to confirm this information”.

On November 28th, G-Dragon uploaded a video of him singing the song “OUTRO. Divina Commedia” from his solo album in 2017. The video shows G-Dragon asking, “Who am I?” and then the stage of “Divina Commedia”. This song sampled and reconstructed track 11 “Veridis Quo” beat from Daft Punk’s masterpiece “Discovery”. It took the motif from Dante Alighieri’s famous poem “Divine Comedy”.

G-Dragon was booked by the police on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act but he denied all the drug allegations and voluntarily attended the police summons. After G-Dragon tested negative in all drug tests and the entertainment establishment A also reversed her statement, the police decided to clear the charges for G-Dragon and closed the case on December 19th.
