After 4 years since SISTAR disbanded in 2017, Hyorin and Dasom will be back as a new unit
On August 2, News1 reported that two SISTAR members Hyorin and Dasom will form a unit and soon release a new song as well as start their activities.
This is the first time the two have formed a unit. The public has high expectations for the synergy of Dasom, who plays the youngest role in Sistar, and Hyorin, a powerful vocalist with a charming voice.
Hyorin and Dasom, in particular, will be reunited for the first time since SISTAR disbanded in 2017, which will thrill fans. Previously, SISTAR rose to prominence as the ‘summer queen’ in the 2010s and had a plethora of summer hit songs. As a result, the audience is paying a lot of attention to Hyorin and Dasom’s musical styles in forthcoming products.
The unit was carried out as part of the “How to Spend 2021 Well” project of Content Lab “VIVO,” which is represented by Song Eun-yi. Earlier, actor Ra Mi-ran and rapper Miran gathered attention by presenting “Ra Mi-ran” following the main character of the first project, “Second Aunt Kim Da-bi.”
Meanwhile, SISTAR debuted in 2010 with their first album ‘Push Push,’ and earned widespread acclaim for hits like ‘So Cool,’ ‘Alone,’ and ‘Touch My Body.’ The group abruptly disbanded in 2017 after seven years of operations. Even after the band’s disbandment, the members continued to meet and maintain friendships.
