MAMAMOO+, a subunit of MAMAMOO, is making a comeback with the new album, “Act 1, Scene 1.”
MAMAMOO+ has been teasing hints and behind-the-scenes stories about the album, making fans even more excited for its release.
On March 19, MAMAMOO+ uploaded a video on their official YouTube channel, in which members Moonbyul and Solar shared stories about the making of the album.
According to Moonbyul, MAMAMOO+ did not limit themselves to a specific concept for this album. She stated that they incorporated elements of both “freshness” and “sexiness” into their music.
Moreover, MAMAMOO+ actively reflected their fans’ ideas in the album’s production. Solar emphasized that the album was made “for MOOMOOs, by MOOMOOs, and about MOOMOOs,” referring to MAMAMOO’s fandom.
Both Moonbyul and Solar showed confidence in their work, with Moonbyul stating that they put their “souls” into the new album. Solar expressed her excitement for the future, stating that MAMAMOO+’s upcoming album would be something to look forward to.
The album, which includes four tracks, features the title song “GGBB,” as well as “Chico Malo,” “LLL,” and “Chico Malo Aniri Ver.” (Feat. Kim Junsu, CD only). Moonbyul and Solar participated in writing and composing the album, showcasing their musical abilities.
MAMAMOO+ will officially release “Act 1, Scene 1” on March 29, and they will drop “Chico Malo” on March 21, ahead of their comeback.
