Former Fiesta member Hyemi mentions IU, “We lived together during trainee days. She gave me a luxury bag as a gift”

Ex-Hyemi talked about how she has been doing and expressed her gratitude towards singer IU.

On July 18th, the Youtube channel “근황올림픽” uploaded a new video titled “Let’s meet Hyemi. Successful businesswoman in Yongsan… ‘Queen of innocent’ girl group member, whereabouts after disbandment (Idol who received a luxury bag from IU”.

In the video, Hyemi exclaimed, “It’s been 5-6 years since Fiesta ended activities”. Delivering her current situation, she said, “I’m running a practice room rental business. The room is about 50 pyeong. There’s also a recording room. I found a completely empty space to make it. I worked hard on studying interior design. I decided to have the door open to the left or right and even did all the painting myself. There were more things to worry about than I thought. I also made it soundproofed. It actually cost around 100 million won. I earned about as much as an average office worker.”

Revealing that she used to be in the same agency as IU during their trainee days, Hyemi shared, “IU helped me a lot with the promotion. The dorm where I lived with IU when I first became a trainee was really nice. It was about 60 -70 pyeong in size and even had marble floors. IU was also a trainee back then so I got close to her”.

She continued, “When IU received her salary for the first time, she told me about that. To be honest, I don’t think her first settlement was a very large amount, but she bought gifts for everyone around her. IU even gifted me a luxury bag. She’s a very loyal friend. All her friends received gifts in that price range. IU and MBLAQ Thunder succeeded first. The four of us often wore masks and went to amusement parks to play together.”

Regarding Fiesta activities, Hyemi shared, “I was always busy and did lots of activities. But I didn’t get any salary. I worked as an idol for about five years and I totally understand the company’s perspective. They really did their best to take care of me. The company even provided me with all the daily life necessities. They also gave me an allowance every month.”

Hyemi, who failed to become famous as an idol, confessed, “I was very anxious and confused after the group’s disbandment. I realized that I reached my late 20s but had not achieved any great success, but I felt rather relieved. I gained many experiences through the hardships and thought I would do anything if there is a chance”.

Revealing that she also works as a vocal trainer, Hyemi said, “I taught several idols, such as Kep1er Yeseo, DKZ Mingyu, CLASS:y Hyeongseo, etc. I’m quite busy but you won’t know how I spend my days.”
