EXO’s D.O. to reportedly return as a singer with solo album in May

According to OSEN on Jan 3rd, Do Kyung-soo is confirmed to be gradually preparing to release a solo album as his first project of the new year. He plans to make a comeback as a singer between April and May, receiving songs from various composers.

Do Kyung-soo released new songs after 2 years through his second mini-album in September last year. He showcased a different charm as a vocalist and solo artist compared to his activities with the group EXO. With the upcoming release of a new album this year, he will return to the music scene after 8 months.

Last November, Do Kyung-soo left SM Entertainment and moved to the new agency Company SooSoo. He joined close friends such as Lee Kwang-soo and Kim Woo-bin for tvN’s variety show “GBRB: Reap What You Sow”, which received a lot of love and recorded a viewership of 5%.

To welcome the new year, he will hold a fan meeting to commemorate his birthday on Jan 13th. In the latter half of the year, he will begin shooting the 35-billion-won blockbuster “Sculpture City”. Do Kyung-soo will take on the role of a designer who carves up people’s lives, creating a real hell. It will be his first time playing a villain since his debut.
