Did Jennie choose her debut film well? Director Sam Levins’ shocking exposure, “Half worried, half excited”

Jennie makes her debut as an actress under the name ‘Jennie Ruby Jane’.

Jennie also recently shared a second teaser on her Instagram and actively promoted her first acting project ‘The Idol’.

Jenny was introduced under the name “Jennie Ruby Jane” in the second teaser released by HBO, following Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd), Susanna Son, Troy Sivan, Moses Sumney, Jane Adams, and Dan Levy.

Lily-Rose Depp, who starred in the teaser, asked Jennie, “What was the name of the club?” With a strange smile, Jennie is briefly seen dancing with Lily Rose Depp in a car while driving to a club.

The Idol is an upcoming American drama television series created by The Weeknd, Reza Fahim, and Sam Levinson for HBO. Set against the backdrop of the music industry, the series will focus on a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult who enters into a complicated relationship with a rising pop idol.

In the 2nd teaser, Jennie is introduced as the 7th. It doesn’t seem like she’s a supporting role, but since Sam Levinson, director of ‘Euphoria’ grabbed the megaphone, fans are reacting with ‘half anticipation and half worry’ about how Jenny will portray her role. Based on what the trailers have revealed, it’s highly likely that Jennie will also try something very different from her existing image.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, to which Jennie belongs, will release their 2nd full-length album ‘Born Pink’ on September 16th.
