In a recent interview with the Korean media outlet StarNews for the Lunar New Year, Chuu talked about her friendship with LOONA’s members, “We went skiing together a week ago. When we are bored, we often meet. When we are hungry, we eat together, have our nails done, watch TV, and talk about the past.”
Chuu said of the members, “They are the first people I talk to about my feelings, and when I have a hard time, they are the first people I look for,” adding, “Everyone is quick-witted, so when I call, if my voice sounds like I am hurt, they run to me right away. It’s hard for even my family to do that, but they are precious friends who worry about me the most when I have a hard time.“
The members of LOONA have signed with different agencies and re-debuted. Regarding this, Chuu said, “The members are the partners whose growth I have witnessed for a long time,” Chu said. “Watching their performances, I realized that this is what they wanted to do and that they are spreading their wings around.” She also looked genuinely happy, saying, “I feel proud to see the process of them realizing what they wanted to do,” Chuu said, expressing sincere support to the members.
