Choi Jin Sil’s son Choi Hwan Hee, “no position” amid grandmother vs younger sister’s dispute

Choi Jun Hee, the late Choi Jin Sil’s daughter, sued her maternal grandmother Jeong Ok Sook for housebreaking. Jeong Ok Sook, the late Choi Jin Sil’s mother, reportedly entered the house at the request of her grandson Choi Hwan Hee.

On July 11th, Choi Hwan Hee’s agency ROSCHILD told TV Report, “We are not announcing our position on the part related to Choi Jun Hee.”

On the same day, The Fact reported that Jeong Ok Sook was taken to the Seoul Seocho Police Station at 1 AM on July 9th and was investigated as a suspect on charges of housebreaking until 5 AM.

According to the report, Choi Hwan Hee asked Jeong Ok Sook, “I want you to come home and take care of my cat since I have to leave home for 3 nights and 4 days for work.” Jeong Ok Sook went to his apartment located in Seocho-dong, Seoul on July 7th.

This apartment is a legacy that Choi Jin Sil left to her children, and is jointly owned by Choi Hwan Hee and Choi Jun Hee. Currently, Choi Hwan Hee lives alone in this apartment, while Choi Jun Hee lives separately in an officetel.

On July 8th, Jeong Ok Sook, who was doing housework for Choi Hwan Hee until late at night, ran into Choi Jun Hee and her boyfriend at 10 PM. Choi Jun Hee reported Jeong Ok Sook to the police for breaking into the house.

The police, who were dispatched after receiving Choi Jun Hee’s report, took Jeong Ok Sook to the police station, explaining, “Even if the owner of the house asked her to come to the house, it’s legally an action of trespass if another owner of the house doesn’t allow it.”

Jeong Ok Sook, who was taken to the Seocho Police Station at around 1 AM on July 9th, reportedly returned home at 6 AM after being investigated as a suspect.
