In the series, Lee Jae Wook plays the younger version of Cha Min Kyu, the CEO of MK Ent, where Boksoon works. In their first meeting, Cha Min Kyu is trying to kill Boksoon’s father. His cold and emotionless eyes show no sign of remorse or guilt. Later, he plans to shoot Boksoon, who is just a high school student. However, he is taken aback by her calm and fearless attitude, which is entirely different from what he expected. Her radiant smile gradually wipes the smirk off the face of the killer.

In this brief scene, Lee Jae Wook has displayed a wide range of emotions, from being cold and mysterious to dangerous and even seductive. He has done an outstanding job portraying the villain. It is hard to believe that Lee Jae Wook, who has mainly played good characters in his previous roles, could deliver such an impressive performance as a murderer.

He has played the caring and considerate Lee Jang Woo in “When The Weather Is Fine”, the determined Sun Woo in “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol”, the cold “bad boy” Baek Kyung in “Extraordinary You”. Most recently, he captured the hearts of mang by playing Jang Uk, who is cold on the outside but warm on the inside, in “Alchemy Of Souls”.
