Cherry Filter joins BTS RM for collaboration in upcoming solo album 

The collaboration further hypes up fans for BTS’ leader’s future works. 

According to an E-Daily report on the 4th, RM will include a song in collaboration with Cherry Filter in his first solo album-in-progress.

Cherry Filter is a band consisting of four members: Cho Yoo-jin (vocalist), Cheung Woo-jin (guitar), Son-star (drums, rap), and Yeon Yun-geun (base). The band released their first album in 2002 and have long been loved for their bright and cheerful rock sound in songs such as “Romantic Cat,” “Flying Duck” and “Come to Me”. The news of Cherry Filter’s collaboration with RM sparked interest in what the color of the song might be.

RM debuted as a BTS member in 2013 and has grown into an artist who shakes the global music market  and performance stages around the world. While the rapper has released free music on the sharing platform SoundCloud before, this is the first time he has officially released a solo album.

BTS J-Hope

Among the BTS members, he will be the third to make an official solo appearance after J-Hope and Jin. Fans have high expectations for his first solo album as he has been working with various musicians from home and abroad, including Tiger JK (Drunken Tiger), Lil Nas X, Fall Out Boy, Honne, and Balming Tiger.

BTS’s agency Big Hit Music will officially announce RM’s solo album and release schedule later.
