BTS V to appear in LG Uplus’ “Tiny Desk Korea” ahead of solo debut, extraordinary lineup

Before making his official solo debut with “Layover”, BTS member V is set to appear on LG Uplus’ “Tiny Desk Korea”.

On August 11th, “Tiny Desk Korea”, which is produced by LG Uplus, revealed an extraordinary lineup. In particular, Kim Chang Wan Band, Sunwoo Jung A, BTS V, Yun Seok Cheol Trio, and Kwon Jin Ah will perform on a small desk, showcasing a world of music and interacting with fans through live performances.

The globally popular program “Tiny Desk Concert”, which is produced by the U.S. public radio broadcaster NPR Music, has featured pop stars like Adele, Justin Bieber, and Korean musicians including BTS, Jay Park, and SsingSsing. 

Now, BTS V, who has previously appeared on the original “Tiny Desk Concert”, is included in the lineup for the Korean version, “Tiny Desk Korea”, capturing attention. BTS V is set to release his solo album “Layover” on the 8th of next month, so his performance as a solo artist on “Tiny Desk Korea” is more anticipated than ever. 

Recently, V has already captivated listeners by pre-releasing the music video for the track “Love Me Again.”

Furthermore, the multi-talented Kim Chang Wan Band, a “living legend” in the Korean music industry, is also featured in the lineup. Beloved by people of all ages, Kim Chang Wan Bang is raising expectations for how they will enchant viewers with their emotions this time.

Additionally, singer and producer Sunwoo Jung A, singer-songwriter Kwon Jin Ah, and jazz pianist and producer Yun Seok Cheol, who is leading the Yun Seok Cheol Trio, have been confirmed to complete this perfect lineup.

On the other hand, “Tiny Desk Korea” is being produced by LG Uplus. In this Korean version of the “Tiny Desk Concert”, live performances of the participating musicians and bands in a space called the “Library” with a small desk, will bef featured. Each episode, running for 15 to 30 minutes, is made into mid-form content.

Starting with the 1st episode on August 25th and subsequently 3 to 4 new episodes airing per month, “Tiny Desk Korea” can be watched on LG Uplus’ mobile content platform U+Mobile TV and the official Tiny Desk Korea YouTube channel.
