BTS to release a book that summarizes their 10-year journey 

A book titled, “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS”, which recap the journey of BTS, will be published in July.

On May 11th (local time), the US media The New York Times published an article titled, “K-Pop Stars BTS Will Release a Book Telling Their Own Story in July”. Soon after, the publisher of the book, Flatiron Books, shared the article on their Instagram along with the caption, “Dynamite News”, thus confirming the book release.

According to Flatiron Books and The New York Times, the BTS book, titled “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS”, will be released on July 9th in South Korea and the United States.

The book, which is 544 pages and contains exclusive photographs, was written by journalist Myeongseok Kang and members of the group, and it will be published in South Korea by Big Hit Music.

It has been translated into English by Anton Hur, in collaboration with Clare Richards and Slin Jung.

Telling the oral history of BTS, “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS” is said to have an initial print run of 1 million copies, and is described as a “fun, celebratory title” that would skew to “slightly younger” audiences by Flatiron. 

At the same time, the book is also expected to have “global appeal” and “massive publicity”, per the words of an official from Flatiron.
