BTS receives Best Foreign Work in Japan, “‘Dynamite’ is still hot”

BTS proved their unrivaled popularity in Japan.

The Japan Music Copyright Association (JASRAC) unveiled its list of awards for the 2022 JASRAC Awards on May 18th. BTS won the “Best Foreign Work” award for their digital single “Dynamite”.

BTS is the only foreign singer to be named at the awards. Gold, silver, bronze, and even international awards are only for Japanese works.

“Dynamite” is a disco-pop genre song that delivered a hopeful message amid the pandemic situation. Although the song was released in 2020, it is still loved by listeners around the world.
