BTS Jungkook Called Out for Inconsistency with Past Anti-Smoking Remark

BTS Jungkook’s recent actions have left many fans disappointed

Recently, BTS Jungkook stirred up controversy with photos showing him smoking outside a restaurant in Los Angeles, USA. Many criticized his smoking behavior, given his significant influence, which could negatively impact his young fans.

Adding fuel to the fire, netizens re-shared an old video of Jungkook expressing his dislike for cigarettes nine years ago. In “American Hustle Life” filmed in Los Angeles in 2014, Jungkook stated his aversion to smoking, “I want to become an adult quickly. Adults can smoke, my dad smokes too, but I really hate it.”

In the past, Jungkook once sent a heartfelt message to his father, urging him to quit smoking back in 2014. He pleaded, “Can I send a video message to my Dad? Please, Dad, stop smoking. It’s not good for your lungs at all. Either quit smoking altogether or switch to e-cigarettes. Harmful substances will accumulate in your body. I hope you watch this program and quit smoking.”

However, the recent sighting of Jungkook smoking has left fans with mixed emotions. Many expressed disappointment, feeling that Jungkook’s actions don’t align with his past remarks.
