A netizen shared a screenshot from a video on an account named @hankki_music. The video showed IVE’s Jang Won-young with a height of 173cm and a weight of 43kg. In the caption, the account claimed that Jang Won-young is among female idols whose weights are much lower compared to how they look.
The netizen pointed out that some Korean men always made posts about female idols’ height and weight to make others think the female idols are underweight or unhealthy, wrote malicious comments toward them, and manipulated the number of recommendations of their posts.
