BTS Jin becomes 1st celebrity to appear on front page of the Military Daily Newspaper on his 10th debut anniversary 

Fans of BTS Jin marked Jin’s 10th debut anniversary with an extraordinary supporting advertisement project.

On June 13th, an advertisement to commemorate the 10th anniversary of BTS Jin’s debut appeared on the front page of the Military Daily Newspaper.

Fans planned and completed an extraordinary project called Military Daily Supporting Advertisement through fundraising so that Jin can appear in public even when he is serving in the military.

The advertisement has a picture of Jin on the stage wearing a purple outfit and holding a microphone. 

A message, which reads, “We appreciate the dedication and hard work of our proud Korean soldiers. We are rooting for all the soldiers”, is written above Jin’s 10th debut anniversary congratulation.

Jin’s fans had reportedly carried out the Military Daily front-page advertisement project since May. Military Daily is a daily newspaper published by the Ministry of National Defense. Although it is not sold on the market due to its nature as a military media, everyone in the military, including people in Jin’s unit.

Through Twitter, “Kim Seok Jin Promotion Team” announced, “After many twists and turns, our supporting advertisement finally passed the Ministry of National Defense review and Jin will be the first-ever celebrity to have a supporting ad on Military Daily”.

In addition, a banner has also been installed in front of the military base at the Signature Square, Teheran-ro to celebrate Jin’s 10th debut anniversary.

Meanwhile, BTS made their debut in the music industry on June 13th, 2013 with their debut single “2 COOL 4 SKOOL”. The group is celebrating their 10th anniversary today. 

Jin enlisted on December 13th last year and is scheduled to be discharged on June 12th, 2024.
