BTS Gallery Denies Claims of BTS Members as Regulars at VIP Room Salon in the Lee Sun Kyun Case
In response to reports surrounding actor Lee Sun-kyun and allegations of drug involvement, the BTS fan gallery has released a statement regarding BTS being mentioned
On the 26th, the BTS fan gallery stated, “As baseless false information related to BTS is currently being circulated, fans must not overlook serious criminal acts that cause irreparable harm to individuals by spreading unfounded facts, using videos, posts, or comments in online spaces that anyone can see, or by engaging in insults and defamation,” and further emphasized, “We will track down criminal activities to the fullest extent and continue to monitor them without any leniency or tolerance, taking all possible legal actions, including criminal charges and civil damage claims.”
Furthermore, they urged, “Immediately cease any actions that generate or spread false information, damage BTS’s reputation, and, moreover, inflict mental harm, and we request the removal of existing defamatory posts and similar content.”
Earlier, a media outlet reported that Lee Sun-kyun frequented a Gangnam salon and stated, “Some members of BTS who are currently on a break and have not entered the military also frequent this place.” They specifically mentioned Jimin, V, Jungkook, and RM, excluding J-Hope and Jin, as not having entered the military, drawing attention to these names.
In response, the BTS fan gallery voiced their concerns about indiscriminate false information and defamation, asserting that they will “take all legal actions.”
Previously, the Incheon Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Unit booked Lee Sun-kyun without detention on charges of violating the Act on the Management of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropics. Additionally, Big Bang’s G-Dragon is also under investigation on drug-related charges.
In addition to this case, there were rumors that Lee Sun-kyun was a VIP at an entertainment establishment that only allowed 1% of people to enter. A news report even included an interview with an entertainment establishment official who said, “He came here often,” and noted that, “It’s not something that just anyone can do in a room. There could be bigger revelations.”
