G-Dragon has been booked without detention for drug use.
After it was revealed that the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s drug crime investigation team is investigating G-Dragon without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act, insiders in the music industry who have known him for a long time revealed, “His appearance and way of speaking have changed,” according to Korean media outlet Sports Seoul.
In fact, G-Dragon, when attending global brand Chanel’s event last month, shocked fans with a fairly thin appearance, unlike in the past when he was considered as a top fashionista. He seemed to be sobbing as if he were drunk even when walking.
Some people suspect this is the influence of drug addiction, as not only his change in appearance was intuitively noticeable, but his speaking tone has also changed recently.
However, in the music industry, G-Dragon’s alleged drug use is not very surprising. G-Dragon was suspended from prosecution after being investigated for smoking cannabis in 2011, when he was as a member of BigBang.
