Meanwhile, ILLIT is an artist under HYBE’s label BELIFT LAB. Currently, HYBE is experiencing conflict with their subsidiary label ADOR. HYBE detected signs that ADOR’s management was attempting to seize HYBE’s management rights, prompting them to activate their audit rights on April 22nd. Additionally, HYBE sent a letter to ADOR’s board of directors demanding a shareholders’ meeting and CEO Min Hee-jin’s resignation.

CEO Min Hee-jin of ADOR publicly criticized ILLIT, stating that they are copying NewJeans. She claimed, “ILLIT is copying NewJeans in all areas of entertainment activities, including hair, makeup, costumes, choreography, photos, videos and event appearances.”
