“Maestra” Unveils Second Teaser Showing Lee Young-ae’s Charisma

Actress Lee Young-ae is returning to the small screen with the mystery genre

On November 16th, tvN’s new Sat-Sun drama “Maestra: Strings of Truth” (written by Choi Yi=Yoon & Hong Jung-hee/ directed by Kim Jung-kwon) released the second teaser video.

In the teaser, Cha Se-eum (Lee Young-ae) appears as the new music director of The Hangang Philharmonic Orchestra. She’s known as a world-class maestra. Then, Yoo Jung-jae (Lee Moo-saeng) provokes, “I bought this orchestra”.

Cha Se-eum firmly replies, “Not my orchestra”, expressing her strong will. However, an incident happens inside the orchestra. Wearing a patient’s uniform, Cha Se-eum says, “You should have done it properly. If you ever tried to kill me.”

“Maestra: Strings of Truth” is a drama about conductor Cha Se-eum digging into the mysterious incidents that happen within her orchestra while hiding her own secret.

Lee Young-ae takes on the role of Cha Se-eum, one of the only 5% female conductors in the world. This character is dubbed as a ‘genius’ or ‘legend’.

As such, the actress is expected to showcase a fierce performance with her transformation into a charismatic maestra.

“Maestra: Strings of Truth” will air its first episode at 9:20 p.m. on December 9th. The drama stars Lee Young-ae, Lee Moo-saeng, Kim Young-jae, and Hwang Bo-reum-byeol.
