BLACKPINK’s Jennie feels relieved after the Jacquemus show “The outfit perfectly matches my body + I still get nervous”
BLACKPINK's Jennie shared the behind-the-scenes story of walking the Jacquemus show
On July 2nd, a video titled “A Moment in Capri with Jennie” was posted on the YouTube channel “Jennierubyjane”.
In the video, Jennie visited Italy a day before to participate in designer Jacquemus’ “La Casa” cruise collection held on the island of Capri.
Jennie traveled 20 minutes from the hotel to the port then took a boat for another 20 minutes to the show venue. On the boat, Jennie said, “Being surrounded by nature heals me.”
Jennie first did a fitting. She praised the outfit, “The outfit perfectly matches my body.” She prepared thoroughly by rehearsing for the show.
After preparing for the show, Jennie said, “I am so happy to walk the Jacquemus show. Especially since it’s the 15th year anniversary… So it’s even more meaningful and such an honor. I am so thankful towards Simon.“
After finishing the show rehearsal, Jennie took the boat back. She looked around the store, had pasta and seafood for dinner, and spent time with the staff.
Jennie said, “I still get nervous about this moment, but am relieved. A day filled with so many emotions.”
On her last day in Capri, Jennie shared, “Unfortunately, we weren’t able to ride the chair lift today. The line was too long and since it was too hot. We wanted to save our energy.”
Jennie enjoyed herself by dancing in a bikini on the boat. She confessed, “We just rode the yacht back to the port. We’re just walking around the port exploring around.” Jennie had a fun time looking at souvenirs.
