A NewJeans fanbase on SNS platform Twitter was spotted making insulting comments towards BLACKPINK Lisa.
On August 10th, news account Pop Crave on the SNS platform Twitter (also known as “X”), published 2 recent photos of BLACKPINK Lisa along with the caption, “BLACKPINK Lisa looks amazing in new photos”.
However, shortly after Pop Crave’s post, NewJeans Global, a large fanbase of girl group NewJeans with over 141,000 followers, left the reply, “She looks terrible” along with shit, barfing, and cursing emojis.
Upon discovering this, BLACKPINK fans immediately questioned NewJeans Global for their insulting action and demanded them to apologize.
However, the fanbase only claimed that they were hacked by tweeting, “Hi guys, I don’t know if you guys can tell, but we’re actively being hacked right now. We don’t know what is going on at all. I’m literally shaking, please bare with us whilst we try to sort things out.”
Then, NewJeans Global set their account to private, before making several posts in Arabic, which carry racial discrimination tones and even called Lisa “the biggest bitch in Kpop”.
They also deleted their initial claim of being hacked, and has stayed private ever since.
On the other hand, angry BLINKS are currently trending the keywords “APOLOGIZE TO LISA” and demanding a response from NewJeans Global.
