Lee Hyori, “You need to be BTS, Lee Jung-jae to be called a superstar, I’m for domestic consumption”

Lee Hyo-ri talks about the life of a superstar on “Tteokbokki Brothers”.

MBC Every1’s “Tteokbokki Brothers,” which will air on May 31st, will have Korea’s top superstar Lee Hyo-ri as a guest as she appeared to keep her promise with Kim Jong-min. Lee Hyo-ri, who all three hosts admired as an “all-time superstar,” and her own way of maintaining balance between being a superstar and living in Jeju will be revealed.

On the same day, Lee Hyo-ri said, “I’ve been really busy for about 15 years. At that time, I didn’t even have time to think that I was tired. I think I did it without thinking,” she recalls. If a person performs a busy schedule for a long time without any break, they will inevitably become sensitive. Lee Hyo-ri said, “I think I was also sensitive back then. Thinking about it now, I was even sensitive to things that I didn’t have to be sensitive about.”

But Lee Hyo-ri overcame it in her own way. Lee said, “I have no panic disorder, no depression. I sleep well, too. There are times when I’m depressed, but I don’t spend more than two hours with those thoughts,” she shared. “I worked out hard, and I tried hard not to fall into that hole. It’s such a busy and difficult past, but if you asked me would I go back if I could, I would say, ‘I’m going without a doubt’. I like being young,” she said immediately, drawing laughter. Subsequently, the reason why Lee Hyo-ri wanted to go back to the past is beyond the hosts’ imagination, turning the tteokbokki restaurant into a sea of laughter.

In addition, Lee Hyo-ri also conveys her thoughts on K-culture, which has recently become a sensation around the world. When asked about her life of being a superstar, Lee Hyo-ri said, “You need to be BTS, Lee Jung-jae to be called superstars. I’m not even a superstar. I’m for domestic consumption,” she says modestly. She then thanked Jessi and Hwasa, who worked with her in the Refund Sister project, saying, “My juniors did so well that even foreign people write comments to me.”

Lee Hyori is always confident and holds her head high. MBC Every1’s “Tteokbokki Brothers,” which will reveal her superstar life, her Jeju life, and her strong affection for her juniors, will air at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31st.
