Amidst her ongoing career high, BLACKPINK’s Jennie expressed exceptional aspirations.

On May 26th, Vogue Japan revealed the contents of their interview with BLACKPINK Jennie. Jennie conveyed her ambition and gratitude for the career she is building as a singer.

Currently going on a world tour, Jennie mentioned Africa as the group’s next concert destination. Expressing anticipation, she stated that the time spent with BLACKPINK members during the tour remains as cherished memories, and she hopes to visit many places. 

Jennie sincerely expressed her gratitude, saying, “While all my previous experiences are important, the moments where I can meet BLINKs from various countries around the world, whom I haven’t been able to meet for a long time through the current world tour, are especially memorable.

In April, BLACKPINK became the first Asian headliner at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the largest music festivals in the United States. 

Reflecting on this, Jennie conveyed a proud sentiment, saying, “We have grown during the time that has passed. Please look forward to BLACKPINK’s growth.”

Jennie confidently spoke about the inspiration and driving force behind her music activities. She emphasized, “I am a curious person who has no hesitation in challenging new things. Moreover, because I clearly know what I like and dislike, I can easily find what suits me and what I need.” 

Despite her busy schedule, Jennie revealed that she is contemplating various genres of music and meeting many people to find her way of expressing herself through music.

Jennie mentioned SZA as an artist she wants to work with. After listening to SZA’s recent album “SOS,” she expressed her desire, saying, “I want to work together with her someday.” 

Jennie is preparing for her acting debut through HBO’s “The Idol.” “The Idol” has faced controversy and criticism following its first public release at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
