“Stuck in the Middle” is a pop ballad genre song with minimal musical instrument composition and lyrical piano melody that creates a warm atmosphere. YG Entertainment (hereinafter, YG) explained, “We worked hard to capture BABYMONSTER’s unique tone as well as small breathing sounds. It will be a new song that can truly express the deep potential of the members.”
BABYMONSTER is a group formed through YG’s own survival reality program “Last Evolution.” Since it is the first girl group to be launched by YG in seven years since BLACKPINK, fans’ attention was drawn even before the release of its debut song “BATTER UP” in November last year. However, member Ahyeon couldn’t phố in the debut due to health reasons. Fortunately, YG producer Yang Hyun-suk announced on January 25th that Ahyeon has recovered and would start promoting with BABYMONSTER’s first mini album, which will be released in April.
