KARA is set to appear in a year-end special broadcast of “Music Station” as the only Korean girl group in the lineup 

Their appearance on the music show is a part of KARA’s long list of comeback activities in Japan. 

Second-generation girl group KARA confirmed their appearance on Japan’s leading prime-time Japanese music program “MUSIC STATION” provided by TV Asahi for the first time in about 10 years.

This is the group’s ninth appearance on “Music Station”, a famous Japanese music program for 36 years. KARA is appearing on a 6-hour live broadcast, year-end special of the program and as the sole Korean girl group in the lineup.

KARA is set to perform their title track “WHEN I MOVE” from their anniversary album “MOVE AGAIN” and their all-time hit song “Mr.” on “Music Station.” Local fans are looking forward to KARA’s powerful and energetic performances as well as various stories about the group reunion

Prior to this year-end appearance, KARA’s Japanese edition of “MOVE AGAIN” is set to release in Japan on the 21st December, seven and a half years after the fifth full-length Japanese album “Girl’s STORY.”  The album contains six new songs, including the Japanese version of “WHEN I MOVE.”

Recently, the Japanese version of the music video “WHEN I MOVE” was dropped on the Universal Music Japan YouTube channel that launched the countdown to their activities in Japan. KARA is planning on holding fan meetings in Osaka, Fukuoka and Tokyo in February next year to meet their fans.

KARA’s anniversary album has topped the Oricon weekly chart for the first time in the history of foreign female artists since the group’s debut in Japan. KARA made history by holding a concert at Tokyo Dome in 2013.
