All tickets for iKON concerts in Kobe were sold out, marking a successful start of the group’s Japan tour

Boy group iKON successfully finished the first shows of their Japan tour, proving that their popularity in Japan is still explosive.

iKON announced the start of “iKON JAPAN TOUR 2022” at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe Hyogo Prefecture on the 2nd and 3rd of July. All tickets for their three concerts in two days were reportedly sold out. To repay the huge love from fans, the members presented perfect live stages.

iKON heated up the atmosphere inside their concert hall with a series of hit songs, such as “KILLING ME”, “MY TYPE”, and “LOVE SCENARIO”. In particular, the Japanese versions of “DIVE” and “BUT YOU” were also performed for the first time, drawing enthusiastic responses from local fans.

According to the Covid-19 prevention guidelines, fans were not allowed to sing along and cheer loudly, but both iKON members and iKONICs (iKON’s fandom) still enjoyed their moments. The members made lots of eye contact with fans and fans responded by giving big applause and waving their Konbat (iKON’s lightstick).

Expressing their feelings, iKON said, “We feel so touched that we can meet you all again like this. We feel so happy receiving your great love and we hope you feel happy, too. We want to be with you for a long time. iKON will continue to work hard to develop and show you better performances”.

Meanwhile, iKON will release their Japanese album “FLASHBACK [+ iDECIDE]” on July 7th. “iKON JAPAN TOUR 2022” will continue to be held at Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo on July 9th and 10th.
