IVE Successfully Debuts at America’s Largest Music Festival

IVE has successfully completed their debut performance at the United States' largest music festival.

On August 3rd (local time), the group appeared at Lollapalooza Chicago, held at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. They delivered a captivating 45-minute set.

Lollapalooza, a massive music festival that began in Chicago in 1991, encompasses a wide range of popular genres including pop and rock. IVE was the only K-pop girl group invited this year, sharing the stage with renowned international artists.

Making their grand entrance with a band, IVE kicked off the performance with “I AM.” They showcased their versatility with rock-arranged versions of “ROYAL” and “Accendio.” The group then captivated the audience with their contrasting stage presence. IVE performed a summer festival remix of “Off The Record” to cool down the crowd in the sweltering heat, and ignited the audience with powerful performances of “Baddie” and “ELEVEN,” prompting a massive sing-along.

IVE continued to mesmerize the audience with their unique performances of “HEYA,” “After LIKE,” “LOVE DIVE,” and “Kitsch.” They concluded the show with their first English single, “All Night,” leaving the fans ecstatic with their bright energy. The setlist was well-rounded, encompassing the group’s discography from their debut album to their latest releases.

IVE, currently on a world tour, is said to have dedicated themselves to preparing for Lollapalooza. Thanks to their efforts, the group flawlessly performed 11 songs with a live band for 45 minutes.

IVE’s leader, Ahn Yu-jin, expressed her gratitude through Starship Entertainment, saying, “While on our world tour, we discussed the Lollapalooza stage a lot among the members, and we aimed to showcase everything we had prepared with the band and dance team. I’m so happy we were able to successfully perform thanks to the cheers from the many DIVE (fandom name) members and the audience. I’m grateful to all those who cheered for IVE and made this such a great experience. We will repay you with even better performances at our upcoming encore concerts.”

Following their successful Lollapalooza performance, IVE will hold their first world tour encore concert, “SHOW WHAT I HAVE,” at KSPO DOME in Seoul on August 10th and 11th. They will then head to Japan to perform at Summer Sonic 2024 in Osaka on August 17th and Tokyo on August 18th. Additionally, they will be performing at the “SHOW WHAT I HAVE” encore concert at Tokyo Dome on September 4th and 5th.
