Yuqi Thinks She’s The Prettiest In (G)I-DLE, “Miyeon Has Princess Syndrome, She’s Just Pretense”

On February 1st, the YouTube channel “No Brake Tak Jae-hoon” uploaded a new content video featuring the guest appearance of (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi.

In the video, Yuqi introduced herself, saying “I’m Chinese. I came to Korea in 2016, so I started learning Korean from then”.

Revealing her whereabouts, Yuqi said, “I made a comeback so I’ve been really busy. I’m like crazy about work. I love drinking but I don’t even have time for that. I really couldn’t drink this year. Kkaoliang, I like it”. Promoting (G)I-DLE’s new song “Super Lady”, she said, “It’s a really cool song. It expresses confidence. Confidence is key…”, then performed the choreography of the song. 

Yuqi then shared, “I’ve never been nervous since my debut. I don’t see why I should be nervous. Variety shows don’t make me nervous at all. I find it more comfortable to just let go. I’m overflowing with confidence”.

She continued, “In my 20-something years of life, my constant dilemma is that I hardly find anything I’m bad at. Miyeon just has princess syndrome. I’m the real deal! Miyeon unnie is just pretense and I’m all about the real stuff. I’m the prettiest among the five members of (G)I-DLE. The members are almost as pretty as me, but among them, I slightly stand out a bit”.

Yuqi confessed, “The company kept saying ‘Don’t cross the line’, which made us push it even further. But how can we be humble when we’re this good? I have to take a flight to go there. Before landing, I always worry that I won’t be able to get off the plane because too many people might crowd around me.”

When she said, “My contract with CUBE Entertainment is only 1 year and 3 months left”. Hearing that, Tak Jae-hoon commented, “You’re literally over the moon”.
