On the July 20 episode of SBS’s Running Man, a special APEC-themed race took place in Gyeongju, with Miyeon joining as a guest. Despite the early morning filming location far from Seoul, Miyeon casually revealed that she had visited a salon before arriving on set, surprising everyone.
The cast asked what time she managed to go to the salon, to which Miyeon replied “I went at 3AM”, revealing a schedule that only an idol could endure. She then innocently asked, “Didn’t everyone else go to the salon too?” amused to find that the other cast members had come straight to filming.
Yoo Jae-suk joked “Yeeun came straight from Waterbomb”, referencing the grueling schedules idols face during comeback and festival seasons.
He also teased Yang Se-chan, saying, “When I saw Se-chan on the KTX, I thought he was a theater actor preparing for a big performance. Thirty minutes before arrival, he pulled out a small mirror and started putting on powder.” His impersonation of Se-chan’s makeup antics had everyone laughing.
Miyeon’s dedication to maintaining her idol image even in variety show appearances reminded everyone of the demanding standards placed on K-pop stars, earning her admiration and chuckles alike from the cast and viewers.
