Concerns are rising among fans after Song Yuqi, a member of I-DLE, revealed she is temporarily stepping back from activities following a head injury sustained during a recent concert.
The incident occurred on March 21 during a performance in Bangkok, where Yuqi accidentally hit her head while rushing on stage. At the time, she only experienced minor swelling and initially did not consider it serious. However, her condition worsened the following day, as she began experiencing dizziness and persistent pain.

Despite taking painkillers to manage the symptoms, Yuqi’s health did not fully recover. During a brand event on March 24, fans noticed her repeatedly rubbing her temples and eventually leaning on staff for support, raising alarm about her physical state. Later that day, her symptoms intensified, with severe headaches and recurring dizziness prompting her to seek medical attention.
Shortly after, Chinese variety show Keep Running announced that Yuqi would not participate in the current season’s recording due to health reasons. The update further fueled concern among fans worldwide.
Addressing the situation personally, Yuqi reassured fans through a heartfelt message. She shared that doctors have advised her to rest and continue monitoring her condition, adding that her parents are now by her side during recovery. “I will listen to the doctors, take my medication, and focus on getting better,” she stated, while also apologizing for causing worry.

Yuqi also reflected on the incident with regret, emphasizing the importance of health and safety. “I always tell you to stay healthy, but this time I didn’t do that myself,” she wrote, expressing both accountability and affection toward fans.
While no official timeline has been given for her return, Yuqi’s message made clear her desire to recover quickly and reunite with fans. For now, both her agency and supporters are prioritizing her health, hoping for a full and speedy recovery before she resumes her busy schedule.
