“You Quiz on the Block” CL, “After 2NE1’s reunion performance, I cried seeing Park Bom returning to Korea”

CL recalled when she shed tears in front of 2NE1 members after they finished their first reunion stage in 7 years.

CL appeared as a guest on the “Secret of OO” episode of tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block”, which aired on the evening of May 25th. Earlier on April 16th (local time), 2NE1 performed as a whole group for the first time in 7 years at the world-famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held in Indio, California, the U.S.

On “You Quiz on the Block”, CL recalled the moment she returned home after 2NE1’s reunion performance. She said, “It took us about 40 minutes to get back home. The members didn’t say anything to each other but we all realized how precious 2NE1 performance was. I think all of us felt the same after getting in the car and looking at the window”. She added, “We were like that then after going home, we ate burgers, ate bibimmyeon, and had fun all night long dancing and listening to 2NE1 songs.”

CL confessed that she shed tears in front of 2NE1 members for the first time. She said, “Dara unnie and Bom unnie returned to Korea the next day”, adding, “I had never cried in front of the members until that day. I cried a lot. After saying goodbye to Bom unnie, I cried so much to the point that she left for the airport with a tearful farewell”.

Sandara Park also said she remembered how CL cried while seeing her off. In an interview with the production team of “You Quiz on the Block”, Sandara Park said, “Chae-rin (CL) cried a lot when we were moving in the car. She kept holding my hands and crying.” She added, “CL doesn’t do that often. She’s cool and is the kind of person who can stay calm in most situations, but at that time, she cried the most. While crying, CL said, ‘I will be so lonely when all the members go back to Korea’. I think she was worried that such a moment would never happen again.”
