Inspector Park Nam Gyu of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Unit appeared as a guest in episode 201 of tvN’s entertainment show “You Quiz on the Block” (hereinafter referred to as “You Quiz”).
On this day’s broadcast, Yoo Jae Suk met Inspector Park Nam Gyu and mentioned Thailand’s legalization of cannabis, “When I saw the news recently, there were stores selling drinks and food made from cannabis.” Then he asked, “For example, you go on a trip and take cannabis without knowing. When you come back to Korea, will you be punished according to the law if you test positive for drugs?“
Inspector Park Nam Gyu affirmed and explained, “You can’t say ‘I ate food in Thailand, but I didn’t know there was cannabis’. In Thailand, they notify customers when serving food.“
Yoo Jae Suk expressed surprise, “It was amazing. Like a vitamin drink. Hemp was drawn, but people drank it as a drink.“
