The reason why LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yun-jin returned to HYBE after being eliminated in the monthly evaluation 

LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yun-jin confessed a behind story of her debut.

Huh Yun-jin of LE SSERAFIM appeared as a guest on NAVER NOW.’s “Lee Seung-yoon’s Who Are You’ and honestly revealed her stories.

On the broadcast, Huh Yun-jin confessed the hardships she suffered and behind-the-scenes stories before her debut with LE SSERAFIM.

First, Lee Seung-yoon asked about her life as a trainee before her debut. Huh Yun-jin described the life of a trainee and talked about her worries at that time.

She said, “I became an idol trainee because I liked music and performing on stage so much, but I could sing my favorite song only for the monthly evaluation”, adding “I felt bad having to say goodbye to a friend every month”.

Lee Seung-yoon asked, “Did you fail it (the monthly evaluation), too?”. It turned out that Huh Yun-jin use to be eliminated during several processes.

Recalling the past, she confessed, “A team was formed temporarily and disbanded, some left and moved to other companies. And in the end, I couldn’t survive. I felt like I had missed so many things, not only the chance to debut, so I went back to the U.S”. Huh Yun-jin prepared to return to her study and got accepted to a university in the U.S. However, she still couldn’t let go of her dream of music.

At that moment, she received a call from the company. One and a half years after being eliminated, Huh Yun-jin was asked to return.

Huh Yun-jin said, “I just wanted to ignore everything no matter how many times the company contacted me. Then my intuition told me to do it”, adding “I felt like I have to become part of LE SSERAFIM”.

It was thanks to Huh Yun-jin’s intuition that made the current LE SSERAFIM member Huh Yun-jin.

Expressing her honest feelings, Huh Yun-jin said, “I think I was able to find the sincerity in myself after missing the opportunity before.”
